How a health scare started a tasty passion project that became a mission to Flave The World.

Sam & Stu's Story

Husband and wife co-founders Stuart & Samantha Cook were once sworn meat eaters. But after a frightening bacterial health scare, where a severely ill Sam had to be airlifted to hospital, they both decided to go plant-based to help support her recovery.
They began reading every book, listening to every podcast, watching every doco and experimenting with countless recipes. Their eyes opened to how food affects not just the body, but the planet as a whole. They realised that tasty, nutritious and convenient food that’s good for you and good for the planet, is really hard to find.

And so the concept for Flave was born and the mission set: ‘Flave’ the world.

Now if only they knew a chef…

FLAVE Chef Scotty

Head chef Scott Findlay trained under Gordon Ramsay before honing his plant-based recipes for over a decade as a private chef to legendary Sir Paul McCartney (a pioneer of the Meatless Mondays Movement) as well as ‘flexitarians’ Rihanna, Beyonce, Madonna, Elton John, and a bevy of other celebrities.

Scotty’s incredible skill perfectly complements Sam and Stu’s passion and enthusiasm. As head honcho of all things flavour, he’s ready to show Australia just how freakishly good his favourite recipes are.
